This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our shipping process, delivery timelines, charges, and terms for all orders placed on our website [www.oscojewells.com].

2. Shipping Partner
2.1 Primary Courier Service
We exclusively use Blue Dart Express Limited as our logistics and courier partner for all shipments.

2.2 Tracking Information
You will receive a tracking number (AWB - Air Waybill Number) via email and SMS once your order is dispatched
Track your shipment in real-time at: Blue Dart Tracking Portal
You can also track your order through your Osco Jewells account dashboard
3. Serviceability & Geographic Coverage
3.1 Domestic Shipping
We currently ship only within India to addresses serviceable by Blue Dart.
Coverage:
All major cities and towns
Most Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities
Selected rural areas with Blue Dart connectivity
3.2 Pincode Verification
IMPORTANT: Before placing an order, please verify that your delivery pincode is serviceable.
Pincode serviceability is verified at checkout
If your pincode is NOT serviceable by Blue Dart, you will see a notification during checkout
You may be prompted to provide an alternative delivery address
3.3 Non-Serviceable Areas
If your pincode is not serviceable:
We reserve the right to cancel the order
A full refund will be initiated within 5-7 business days
We will notify you via email and SMS about the cancellation
You may place a new order with an alternative serviceable address
Non-Serviceable Locations May Include:
Remote areas without Blue Dart coverage
High-risk zones where secure delivery cannot be guaranteed
Areas under temporary shipping restrictions
Military/defense areas requiring special permissions
3.4 International Shipping
We do NOT currently offer international shipping. Our services are limited to addresses within India only.
4. Processing Time
4.1 Order Processing
Once your order is confirmed and payment is verified:
Ready Stock Items:
Processing time: 1-2 business days
Includes quality check, BIS hallmark verification, and secure packaging
Made-to-Order / Custom Items:
Processing time: 5-10 business days (depending on customization)
Includes manufacturing, quality check, hallmarking, and packaging
You will be notified of the expected processing time at the time of order placement
Gold Coins (Ginni):
Processing time: 1-2 business days
Includes purity verification, certification, and secure packaging
4.2 What is NOT Included in Processing Time
Processing time does NOT include:
Order verification and payment confirmation time
Transit/delivery time
Weekends and public holidays
4.3 Order Verification
For high-value orders (above ₹50,000), we may require:
Identity verification (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
Address proof
Phone verification (OTP)
Video KYC (in some cases)
This is to ensure secure delivery and prevent fraud.
5. Delivery Timeline
5.1 Standard Delivery
Delivery Time: 2-3 Business Days (after dispatch)
Calculated from the date of dispatch, not from order placement
Business days = Monday to Saturday (excluding Sundays and national holidays)
Delivery times may vary based on location and Blue Dart operations
Example Timeline:
Order Placed: Monday
Order Processed & Dispatched: Tuesday/Wednesday
Delivery: Thursday/Friday/Saturday (2-3 days after dispatch)
5.2 Factors Affecting Delivery Time
Delivery may be delayed due to:
Remote or difficult-to-access locations
Natural disasters, floods, or extreme weather
Political unrest, strikes, or bandhs
Public holidays and festivals
Flight cancellations (for air cargo)
Customs or security checks (in certain areas)
Incomplete or incorrect delivery address
Recipient unavailability
Force majeure events
We are not liable for delays caused by Blue Dart or circumstances beyond our control.
5.3 Peak Season Delays
During festive seasons (Diwali, Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras, etc.) and sale events:
Delivery may take an additional 1-2 days due to high order volume
We will notify you of any expected delays
6. Shipping Charges
6.1 Standard Shipping Charges
FREE Shipping:
On all orders above ₹15,000
Applicable to all serviceable pincodes.
Paid Shipping:
Orders below ₹15,000: ₹150 (flat rate)
Shipping charges are displayed at checkout before payment
6.2 Additional Charges
No Hidden Charges:
No fuel surcharges
No remote area surcharges (if serviceable)
No handling fees
Note: If Blue Dart levies any additional charges for specific remote locations, we will notify you before dispatch. You may choose to proceed or cancel the order for a full refund.
6.3 Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD is NOT available for security reasons. All orders must be prepaid through our secure payment gateway.
Reasons:
High value of gold jewelry and coins
Security and fraud prevention
Ensures serious purchase intent.
7. Packaging & Insurance
7.1 Secure Packaging
All products are packaged with utmost care:
Jewelry (Nose Pins & Nose Rings):
Placed in premium jewelry boxes
Wrapped in bubble wrap or foam padding
Sealed in tamper-proof packaging
Placed in sturdy outer carton boxes
Gold Coins (Ginni):
Placed in sealed protective cases
Wrapped in security packaging
Placed in tamper-evident boxes
BIS Certificates & Invoices:
Included in a sealed envelope inside the package
7.2 Discreet Packaging
Outer packaging does NOT indicate jewelry or valuable contents
Plain, unmarked carton boxes to ensure security
No company branding on outer packaging
7.3 Insurance During Transit
All shipments are insured through Blue Dart's insurance coverage:
Covers loss, theft, or damage during transit
Insured value = Declared order value
Claim process handled jointly by Osco Jewells and Blue Dart
In Case of Loss or Damage:
Immediately notify us at support@oscojewells.com
File a complaint with Blue Dart (we will assist)
We will investigate and initiate a claim
Refund or replacement will be processed within 15-20 business days after claim approval.
8. Delivery Process
8.1 Proof of Delivery (POD)
All deliveries require Proof of Delivery (POD):
The recipient MUST be present to receive the shipment
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for verification
Signature on the delivery receipt is mandatory
In some cases, an OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number must be provided to the delivery executive

Driving License
Passport
Voter ID Card
8.2 Signature on Delivery
The recipient must sign the delivery acknowledgment
The signature will be captured by the Blue Dart delivery executive
Digital POD with signature and timestamp will be available for your records
8.3 OTP Verification (For High-Value Orders)
For orders above ₹50,000:
An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number at the time of delivery
You must provide this OTP to the Blue Dart delivery executive
Delivery will NOT be completed without OTP verification
8.4 Video/Photo Verification
For certain high-value gold coin orders:
The delivery executive may capture a photo or video of the recipient and delivered package
This is for security and verification purposes only
Images are securely stored and not shared with third parties
8.5 What if Recipient is Unavailable?
First Delivery Attempt:
Blue Dart will attempt delivery at the specified address
If you are unavailable, a delivery notification will be left
Second Delivery Attempt:
Blue Dart will attempt delivery again the next business day
You will be notified via SMS/call
Third Delivery Attempt:
A final delivery attempt will be made
If unsuccessful, the package will be marked "Return to Origin" (RTO)
After Three Failed Attempts:
The order will be returned to Osco Jewells
You will be charged a return shipping fee of ₹150
Refund (minus return shipping charges) will be processed within 7-10 business days
You may place a fresh order if needed
8.6 Safe Delivery Instructions
You may provide safe delivery instructions during checkout:
"Deliver to security guard"
"Call before delivery"
"Deliver to neighbor (provide name and contact)"

Note: Deliveries cannot be left at the doorstep or in mailboxes due to the high value of products.
9. Order Tracking
9.1 How to Track Your Order
Via Email/SMS:
You will receive a dispatch confirmation email and SMS with the AWB tracking number
Click the tracking link to view real-time status
Via Blue Dart Website:
Visit www.bluedart.com
Enter your AWB number in the tracking section
Via Osco Jewells Account:
Log in to your account at [www.oscojewells.com]
Go to "My Orders" to view tracking details

9.2 Tracking Status Explained
Common Tracking Statuses:
Shipment Booked: Order picked up by Blue Dart
In Transit: Shipment is on the way to your city
Out for Delivery: Shipment is with the delivery executive in your area
Delivered: Successfully delivered (POD captured)
Delivery Attempted: Recipient unavailable; will retry
RTO (Return to Origin): Returning to Osco Jewells after failed delivery attempts
10. Address & Contact Information
10.1 Accurate Address
Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete:
Full name of recipient
Complete address with house/flat number, street, landmark
City, state, and pincode
Contact phone number (active and reachable)
Alternative phone number (recommended)
10.2 Address Changes
Before Dispatch:
You can modify the delivery address by contacting customer support within 2 hours of order placement

After Dispatch:
Address changes are NOT possible once the order is dispatched
Blue Dart does not allow mid-transit address changes
You may refuse delivery and request reshipment to a new address (additional shipping charges will apply)
10.3 Incorrect Address
If the order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:
You will be charged return shipping fees (₹300)
You may place a fresh order with the correct address
Refund (minus return charges) will be processed
11. Delivery During Festivals & Holidays
11.1 Public Holidays
Blue Dart does not deliver on:
Sundays (in most locations)
National holidays (Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, etc.)
Major festivals (Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, etc.)
Delivery timeline will be adjusted accordingly.
11.2 Festive Rush
During peak seasons (Akshaya Tritiya, Dhanteras, Diwali, etc.):
Processing and delivery may take additional 1-3 days
We recommend placing orders early
You will be notified of any delays
12. Damaged or Tampered Shipments
12.1 Inspection at Delivery
IMPORTANT: Inspect the package before accepting delivery.
Check for:
Tampered or damaged outer packaging
Broken seals or tape
Signs of opening/resealing
12.2 What to Do if Package is Damaged or Tampered
DO NOT ACCEPT the shipment if:
Outer packaging is severely damaged
Security seals are broken or tampered
Package appears to have been opened
Steps to Follow:
Refuse the delivery and inform the Blue Dart executive

Take photos/videos of the damaged package (if possible)
We will arrange for a return and send a replacement or process a refund
12.3 Reporting Damage After Delivery
If you accept the delivery but later discover damage:
Report within 48 hours of delivery
Email us at support@oscojewells.com with:
Order number
AWB tracking number
Photos of the damaged product and packaging
Description of the damage
We will investigate and arrange for a replacement or refund
Note: Claims reported after 48 hours may not be entertained.
13. Returns via Blue Dart
All returns are handled exclusively through Blue Dart.

Return Process Overview:
Initiate return request via our website or customer support
We will arrange Blue Dart pickup from your address
No need to visit a courier office
Return shipping is FREE for defective/damaged products
Return shipping charges apply for buyer's remorse or change of mind
14. Limitations & Disclaimers
14.1 Delivery Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by Blue Dart, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or force majeure events
Estimated delivery timelines are indicative and not guaranteed
We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of any delays
14.2 Incorrect or Incomplete Information
We are not liable for non-delivery or delays caused by incorrect, incomplete, or illegible address
If the recipient is unavailable after three delivery attempts, return charges will apply
14.3 Security Checks
Shipments may be subject to security checks by authorities
We are not responsible for delays due to such checks
14.4 Pin Code Restrictions
We reserve the right to refuse delivery to certain pin codes based on Blue Dart serviceability or security concerns
Full refund will be provided if we cannot deliver to your location
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones, pandemics)
Government actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest
Strikes, lockouts, labor disputes
Technical failures, power outages
Blue Dart operational issues
Customs or security restrictions
In such cases, we will:
Notify you of the delay
Offer options to reschedule delivery, change address, or cancel for a full refund

This Shipping & Delivery Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Amritsar-Punjab, India.
